After a successful second trial, the trainees are ever reminded of upcoming dates for their training, all neatly recorded and kept in their trainee journal. Presentation make up ensuing soon enough, but the schedule circles:
Year 3: Essay topic submitted to the heir and finished paper due by 7/16

Year 4: Service to the land due completed by 7/20 + trainee journal review/feedback. Make sure they're up to date and up to the heir's standards. Not only is performance measured, but upkeep and presentation of the journal.
