Scarlet circle got its cd between hits finally. Now its time to give magma fist and glacial lance's cd between hits.

Giving scarlet circle's blades bleeding effect would be make sense tho.

I still think that the climb to Radiant should be halved. It's 100 spent faith and 50 spendable faith.
Ways to Gather Faith Points-
Prayer= +3 faith.
Blessing= +5 faith.
Festival (Once every 3 Ic years)= +1 per attendance. The amount of magi who show up for the festival.

Ways to spend Faith Points-
Sanctify= -5 Faith.
Teach Holy Magic (at Radiant only)= -3 faith.
Baptize= -5 faith.
Incense= -5 faith. (Unsure if this is intended or not)
Purchasing Faith Upgrades/Abilities= I don't think that this actually counts. Or at least, it most definitely did not count for my character as I was grinding back then.

These are the only ways to obtain faith points / spend faith points. Losing a faith point every single five days, or In-Game year. With more and more people assigned to the faith/joining the faith, this makes gathering Faith points incredibly difficult. While we have the ability to transfer faith points into a person, that still does not level out the amount of faith that they have to spend in order to start saving for the purchase alone.

While Festival has the opportunity to provide a lot of Faith points, this does not negate the fact that it costs 100 spent Faith points with so few options to spend faith. Nor does it help the amount of spendable faith points for the purcase.

Radiant allows you the following abilities:
Shoulder Burden: -10 faith to use.
Restore Vigor: -50 faith to use.
Anoint Champion: -30 faith to use, yet this ability does not work. So there in a pointless ability with no purpose/intentions.
Teach Holy Magic: -3 faith.

While I understand the amount of faith per ability, one of them doesn't even work. So there's no point in even having it in game. Shoulder Burden is a -10 PERM that cannot EVER be fixed or treated. Restory Vigor only lasts an IC year, but again I understand why it's 50 faith points.

All of this said. The amount of time spent grinding, upon grinding, upon grinding, upon grinding, only to achieve such minimal faith points every IC year would STILL make the grind toward Radiant EXTREMELY difficult and time consuming if it were to be halved.

Current Costs-
100 SPENT faith.
50 SPENDABLE faith.

Suggested Costs-
50 SPENT faith.
25 SPENDABLE faith.

This is still going to be a HUGE grind considering the amount of faith one can get from the base abilities, as well as taking into consideration the amount of time spent between the two major faith gathering abilities. Those being Blessing, which is a 1 IC year wait, and Festival which is a 3 IC year wait. I understand that it's designed in a way to make people actually rp and put in the effort. But halving the price is absolutely going to STILL make people grind. Especially if there is more than just one person active in their character's specifically aligned faith.

I'm not asking to make it ungodly easy for everyone to just obtain it. I'm only suggesting that it be lessoned in expectation because as it stands, the grind is just way too much for what little output to reward ratio there is. Don't get me wrong, I love doing Faith rp. I only wish for it to be a little bit more accessible for per the later upgrades.

50 spent faith and 25 spendable faith is a massive achievement in the faith, any faith.

Make anoint champion of faith do something other than wasting - 30 faith

As someone else playing a pretty heavy faith character. And someone who has made a very long post about the state of faith vs black magic and the ease of both gaining their resources. I have to say my opinion has changed somewhat. And im actually fairly alright with where faith is at right now. I've managed to work praying over people into a lot of my rp, even if the person has a prayer on them already. It becomes much less demotivating when you make all of your rp prayery and preachy so even when you see the dreaded "You cannot bless someone who already has a blessing" message it doesn't change the point of your rp.

Except.

Holy fuck. Make Anoint Champion do fucking something. It's just frustrating to see new content and watch as there is still no fucking anoint champion on the horizon.

Also, there's nothing really saying you couldn't app for the Shoulder burden perms to be scarred eventually. (as far as I know. I haven't actually used it yet. If theres a message when you use it that specifically says this I'd love to see it.) Or to get aetherblossoms from events. I really don't know why people dont try to get these more often.

Restore Vigor is cracked as hell and I dont think anyone is arguing against that.

But I agree that the faith cost might need just a slight tuning. Maybe not halved though. Taking away oaths +1 faith did make it a bit harder to gain faith.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying here. But, the grind is still too much. There is not enough reward per effort put in per the amount of reward given. It just is not enough. Especially with active very active factions, like Vdalion. Currently we have 5 members of the faith, each struggling to gain faith for themselves.

While we have the ability to transfer faith ONLY AFTER a person has purchased Blessing through the upgrade menus, it is still a LIFE LONG character to achieve Radiant. The only reason my character obtained Radiant as fast as she did was because older characters were transfering their faith into her. Otherwise? She would 100% be on the grind still today.

If not halved, then quartered.
75 spent faith,
35 spendable.

While I agree that Anoint Champion should do something, I also think that the price reduction for RADIANT only should be reduced. The amount of faith gainable per spendable is too much. It's far too much of a grind especially when there are other players/characters of the same faith also grinding for faith points. Because as of right now? There is incredibly little reward for output/effort when it comes to the faith.

I was able to get radiant at 22 on Inigo; it isn't that hard in my eyes. But the point of contention is that not all of the radiant choices work -- and until they do, quartered would be fine.

I was also able to get to Radiant without being spoonfed faith. It was a pain in the ass, but also manageable.

Though as it stands, Radiant isn't worth what it costs. That much can be agreed on.

Radiant is absolutely achievable solo. With that said, over half of Radiant's kit doesn't work, and what does work is either exorbitantly expensive or... kind of boring, if you have Medic, so I can agree on that one.

(Let me customize my Shoulder Burden -5s. I hate staring at this stupid one-line perm. Hell, let it be written in tandem by the person who I just kitted so that way it's a true give and take or something. I don't care. I just want it to be customizable.)

I agree with what's being said. But I stand firm on Radiant being reduced in cost both spent faith and spendable faith. The main draw to getting Radian't doesn't work. The amount of faith it costs to buy radiant is WELL above what it's actually worth. To my own math, half is more than fair, a quarter of the costs per spent faith/spendable faith is right at the line of being fair.

All I'm asking for is to make it worth while for the grind. Because as it stands, Radiant is not worth the grind. It just isn't.

Personally on the medic invalidating half of blessing front. I think that the true issue is healing elixirs. They should be nerfed. They invalidate medic (a little less now with the new medic tree.) and Blessings other potential use of healing all temps.

Or. Make Blessing spammable but only on the healing temps part. With no downside for the priest. And before someone says thats op. Yeah so is being able to cure all temps instantly with an easily made potion. Yet its still there.
