DR does not need more ways to be stacked. Every single time we've had DR stacking in eternia, without fail, it's become a cancerous build that absolutely no one enjoys fighting because the fight takes a half hour.

DR stacking is basically non existent in the current state of the game and damage values just keep climbing higher and higher. The issue with mana stacking in the past is multiple + mana gear[20-60 mana] on top of toggles/base mana/dr auras. Mana gear is the highest contributor to the issues in the past and can easily be monitored by not allowing more than 10-20 mana on said gear.

You don't want DR stacking to return. I'll summon Folian and Rat queen and make it hell on earth..

You right, don't want it to return in the state it once was but like with people able to stack multiple 17+ MD spells on a single bar it feels really bad that DR options aren't present to help mitigate the Big number go BRRR meta we facing in light of recent changes. It feels so punishing to try and build mana in any capacity atm and even if it was just little options like the SB from aura to toggle option it'd be nice to see viable means to help mitigate said dmg.

Yeah, I was around for the peak of Sustain back in e3, and I know how much of a slog it can be, but…right now it kind of feels like, unless you’re doing something incredibly specific with a race or a meme build, you’re not gonna touch Sustain or DR and do well without a stack of Uniques or a Sig.
And from a game design perspective, having the only real accessible build style be a few variants of >damage go brrrt, is a lil meh. I dunno what a good solution is, I certainly don’t want five minute long slug matches to become The Thing again, I’m just saying I’d like to see more play styles/stats be relevant in the meta. ![]() Don't ever speak to me or my son ever again
give severance a small bleeding tick, perhaps of the same strength as hemorrhage's. the tree is flavored around bleeds and has a 10rpp passive dedicated to them, but as it stands has incredibly few skills in its own tree that actually proc them: two and a half out of 9 active abilities (blood whip is only a 50% chance so it only gets a half).
to me, severance seems like the best skill for it as it's a mastery skill which, at present, is just a slightly worse version of shockwave (1SD less, and i believe slightly lower range). edit: great googly moogly severance does tick three times in a small bleed after all i never once noticed instead my suggestion is "update the tooltip lol rofl lmao" (02-04-2023, 09:40 PM)ratqueen Wrote: give severance a small bleeding tick, perhaps of the same strength as hemorrhage's. the tree is flavored around bleeds and has a 10rpp passive dedicated to them, but as it stands has incredibly few skills in its own tree that actually proc them: two and a half out of 9 active abilities (blood whip is only a 50% chance so it only gets a half). Honestly I've never seen Bloodwhip fail to bleed, is it really 50% or is that just an outdated tooltip like the aura claiming 25 power despite being 15? Vapor/Hemo/Sev and Whip all bleed tho but tbh I still think to capitalize on the bleeds it'd be nice to make the blood blades consume on hit instead of BRRR ticks and start stacking bleed ticks[cap of 5] it'd proc bonds/aura more frequently as a result with sacrifice and scarlet

Put all summon spells into the new Summoning tree.
If that's too drastic, buff the existing summons you never see be used for good reason. (Golemmancy, Demon Tri-Summon, etc.)

Put a CD on the Cambion funny button.
+50 pow for 2.5k health with a nice solid CD since it last 12 seconds is probably good enough they don't need- LOOK. 30k fatal crits? Are big funny. I love it. Hilarious. But also THATS A 30k FATAL CRIT. I swear I'm not...
