Spell Balance Suggestions
https://chronicles-of-esshar.com/forum/s...p?tid=1453
GBomb disables. Saying it activates all your CDs is the same as disabling them.

Disable -- Remove ability to use.
Activate CDs(and then extends CDs) -- Removes ability to use.

What's the difference? The mechanic should be looked at and it shouldn't forcefully activate any CDs. It should siimply extend your current CDs and maaaybe extend the cd of your next casts. It is essentially a silence.

I don't see anything wrong with a high cd spell that does little damage even if it increases and sets gcd. setting off gcd after the next spell you use, proven by the video I have.

again, someone else came to the forum misinformed. if I need to drop the video of our verbs and others alike I will.

I just tested in calm circumstances, outside of actual RPB.

This activates either GCD, or disables Unarmed spells entirely.

I could not cast Axe Kick for approximately 5 seconds. You're basically silenced. My post still stands - this should not be the case. Being silenced for 5 seconds on entire tree is outrageous.

As a sidenote, lying OOCly so your cheese spell is saved is scummy.

Credits to Adrielle for allowing me to test.

I'm really not getting Hated's behavior. Clearly there's something wrong and there's been something wrong for some time. But you've been needlessly defending the spell as if you don't want anyone at all to even look at it. No one is saying nerf it's intended power and usage, people are saying something is wrong and you keep coming back to try and argue that nothing is wrong at all as the guy who uses it.

It's almost like...

I tested it one more time.

The spells it entirely disables (from Unarmed, at least, since I cannot test Armed):
Jab, Axe Kick, Flying Kick, Weighted Punch, Lariat (?)

According to Adrielle, it also disables Armed spells, although that requires testing.

Point is: disabling majority of Unarmed spells (NOTE: SPELLS LIKE JAB OR AXE KICK ARE GCDE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE AFFECTED BY GCD SHENANIGANS) is outrageous. It's not "counterplay" - it's genuinely bugged spell.

A bugged spell that can silence most of the tree for 5 seconds. This can be tested in game right now for same result.

Feel free to post your video.

The reason gravity bomb defeats unarmed is because everything in unarmed, is a dash. Gravity Bomb disables said dashes and makes everything useless. Perhaps that should be fixed sooner rather than later.

Though, Scorch. It lasts a second less than other variants such as cosmic, holy, occult, things of that matter. I personally believe that it should give it another second, or more ticks.

Headsup, this is false. Jab is not disabled by Gravity bomb. Since it works on the same code as Strike, it can still be used while gravity bombed.

Rip axe kick flying kick weighted punch etc though.

Literally one spell.
