Artificery Compiled - Nailman - 03-30-2023 Have you ever noticed that the recipes aren't available anywhere? Fret not. Here's the full on guide to what is available to you, as an artificer; Or as a person who wants to look at all the equipment available in the base game without having to app for anything. How do I roleplay an artificer? That is, surprisingly, up to you! There's no one way to doing it; You can roleplay it as being a diverse amount of consequences to what your character does. While usually people stick to the tried-and-true blacksmithing hammer & anvil, it's not rare for someone to decide to go with something else such as purely magical crafting where they manipulate the ores and their properties using their magic. Most will do a blend, but you should feel free to put your own personality in it- As long as you remember that what you do is, inevitably, magical. The equipment that you produce, specially enchantments, are by and large magical; As much as I like a non-magi crafter here and there, it's very difficult for one to do magical enchantments while having no magic of their own- But again, creativity comes to play! Maybe they're tempering blades with special ingredients instead of using runes. Elemental Runes
The elemental enchantments are available at Tier 5, Tier 3 and Tier 1. These give you to 1/2/3 Elemental Power / Defense, which amplifies the damage you deal with that element by 1%/2%/3% and reduces all damage you take from that element by the same amount. It can only be applied to [WEAPON] slots! Available in all base elements: Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Ether, Metaphysics, Bio, Physical. Look at the attunement necessary for a tree in order to see what element it benefits from. Glyphs Glyphs give you one of three bonuses: Power (power), Precision (agility/critical), Durability (vitality). They give different amounts depending on what slot you apply them to. While they're available in Lesser (T5), Normal (T3), Greater (T2) and Exalted (T1), I will list the bonuses per slot only of Exalted enchantments; That is what you will be getting most of the time, anyway. The slots that can be enchanted are:
Runes These are the ones that actually matter the most; While glyphs make a difference when put together, they're individually very insignificant and you're not losing much by not having them. Runes, however, are applied on weapons and cost materials besides the 1000 energy that all enchantments cost.
