RE: Bug Reports - Shanal - 03-16-2024

Yeah, not fixed for current reboot.

TC is basically acting like a short-ranged DP. And lasts for only 2 seconds instead of 3, as well.

RE: Bug Reports - akemimera - 03-16-2024

Report the issue: Armed Intermeds are still 50 rpp, the same requirement as its master spell. No elemental magic tree suffers this issue.

Method of production: Picked armed, spend 40 points like every other intermed spell requires, cry as it requires 50.

Report the issue: Eos Chosen Barrier Sprite is offset by 1 tile.

Method of production: Acquire Skill, press Q, watch as the offset appears and weep inside.

My bad, will update/reboot again in a bit (files weren't pulled correctly)

RE: Bug Reports - Kynim - 03-16-2024

Describe the issue: Melodic Repose cannot, for the most part, hit a moving target, and as a result won't apply damage or a confuse; it's uncertain as to whether this casts out as a wave or just chooses random tiles... this has gotten to a point where, in most RPBs, I will cast it point blank and get nothing in return beyond a measly amount of health back; the healing is also inconsistent, either giving 4 ticks or 10 ticks depending on how much I wanted to run around in it like a silly little chicken. In my opinion it should just cast as a blanket AOE, and spawn the tiles randomly similar to how storm works. I will be posting a weekly bug report until this is remedied!

How to reproduce:

How to reproduce: In my case, I used fatal strike, which was converted into DoT damage (altho even here the calculation seemed off, seemed to be missing some damage), then I used PSMASH which crit'd and printed the damage normally -- the catch however is that it was neither converted to DoT nor applied the damage at all. It basically ate the damage up.
After a few test runs it seems to randomly eat up between 9k to 15k damage - between 2 spells. So potentially more, if more spells are involved.

Any relevant media (images, gifs/video, etc): Can send in DMs. Still testing as well to reproduce perfectly. This is quite game breaking ;s

Edit: After some more tests, it seems like the conversion damage calculation is in general off + it eats at minimum 1 tick at the beginning from the DoTs, there's literally a tick hitting for 0 no matter what, each time. This might require some extensive testing to get to the bottom of this, but yeah, I'll happily provide you with the videos I've recorded so far.

Might just remove the DoT given how janky damage number calculations are (2012 shitcode) & return Chronos's space teleport. Will fix soon, one way or another.

There was another fix to this, please let me know how it goes

This still isn't fixed btw, even after second reboot

RE: Bug Reports - NeatherRealmer - 03-16-2024

Bug: Chronos DoT is now doing more damage than intended after the last reboot, I was testing against Fatal with a mage. On the low end it can double the total damage of an ability or when you start messing around in the higher numbers the DoT seems to be still amplifying the total damage received to a slightly lesser extent.

An ability which did 4k damage pre-chronos proceeded to do 8k after activating Chronos. Then when testing an 11k average ability it was getting around a 28% damage increase compared to normal.

Relevant Media: Here is a 128 bit Gif of the strange double tick rate. https://gyazo.com/e87cd6f7c2051d6994ec003fd5ff45c5

Another fix will be live in 3-4 hours (when we reboot)

RE: Bug Reports - NeatherRealmer - 03-16-2024

Report the issue:
1: Dpalm and TC proc a Lightning bolt audio que when a reflect happens, rather I believe it's the natural TC audio.
2: When your opponent has Occult shield active, TC and Dpalm currently do not activate any form of reflect. You both stand there taking no damage and staring at one another menacingly.

Method of production: Pop a spell, get hit. Have your eardrums blasted if they hit you with a ton of stuff at once.

Didn't see this one posted anywhere so I will make sure its known.
