The Elysian Gauntlet (Arcanum Ranking Tournament)

The Ressurection of an idea is laid bare onto the country. Once dubbed the Tournament of Ryujin's Climb is now transformed...one bathed in the light of the Astral Sea. A Tournament to whet our appetites, a preamble before the war of the Hallow World, one to gauge the will of Meranthe before the chaos commences.

The Elysian Gauntlet Has Arrived...

Rules 

 -The battles will take place over the course of 7 ooc days across the country. What ever rank you posses at the end will be your placement.

 - You Must have an indictator of your rank in your profile if you are a talisman holder!!

  

 -There will be a total of twenty five talisman holders. If you do not have a talisman, you are able to challenge a talisman to gain one.
-The holder of Talismans 1-3 can only be chalanged by holders within the top 10 and the Wildcard holder
-Holders of Talismans 1-3 must post their rank and their home location at the end of the day on this forum post.
- Each battle conducted will be at minimum: Agressive, 5 Rounds. If both parties will it, the danger level can be escalated at your own risk Talisman holders  -CANNOT REFUSE A CHALLENGE(unless ic circumstances do not allow it)
-When a challenge is completed, talisman holders must trade talismans
 - The wildcard holder must NOT REVEAL THEIR STATUS

DO NOT FORCIBLY TAKE TALISMANS FROM OTHERS AFTER A MATCH

At the end of the tornament 
-Rank 1: 200,000 coin

Rank 2: 100,000 coin

Rank Three: 50,000 coin

Wild Card Holder - 15,000 Coin

The Tornament will be hosted and begin in Scholaria Arcanium with Talismans being given at random

If you lose your challenge and have to swap your talisman, please, don't be scummy and try to afk with your token.

This tournament is supposed to be fun and engaging, we do not need any sort of Scummy OOC behavior running something that is VERY low stakes.

Please have etiqutte and just let things move forward without generating ooc conflict.

We're trying to have fun here, just have fun with this and enjoy the rp that comes from it.

And the Tournament prepares to enter its second phase.


Each of The Top Six ranking fighters, as well as the Wildcard holder, are to move on to a tournament, to be hosted in Arcanum, alongside a celebration of Will. (Tuesday)

This first half of the Tournament ends, on the day of the Invasion (Sunday). If you are in the Top Six, or the Wildcard holder, you must come to Arcanum in order to be  recognized by an Arcanum official.

Tournament rules still stand, though your rank is only set in stone once you have received confirmation from an Arcanum official.

Further details on the Elysian Gauntlet's closing act, as well as the Festival of Will, will be disclosed on the day.
