Primordial of Greed and Ambition

Once Supreme of the Coven of Denath and Sin of Greed, this Drakanite ascended beyond her mortal coil and became the daughter of the Marquis of Deals and Greed, Denath. The nascent Primordial of Greed and Ambition sits as a purveyor of knowledge, artifacts, and deals to drive those who hold ambition closer to their goals.

The true location of the goddess is unknown, but it is said that those who pray to her or make their names and ambitions known well enough will receive a visit from the Primordial, offering contracts in exchange for aid to their deepest desires.

Some say that the Primordial is the epitome of evil, a no-good witch whose deals are made out of self-serving and malicious intent.

Others say that the Primordial is a redeemed woman, a benevolent aid to those who seek to have their wishes granted, so long as they understand that the use of such power comes with a cost.

Rumors[edit]

The validity of these claims is up to speculation.

  • Melione is not the Goddess's birth name, though the true name is all but lost to time.
  • It is said that the Primordial once longed to be the Champion of Aeldfyr and a proper Dragonlord.
  • The Primordial has sat as both advisors and rulers of a number of Fel nations over the decades.
  • The Goddess is a selfish woman but not in the way many expect. As much as she hoards treasures or coins she prefers to hoard ambitious people.
  • Those who seek knowledge or aid from the Primordial may do so with ease, but once someone has angered the vindictive Goddess she will never aid them again.

Lorekeeper - OOC[edit]

This is a lorekeeper: A character played by a DM that has an active role in the world. They are different from standard PCs as follows,

  • Cannot join raids unless they're specifically a target; this includes all offensive battles.
  • Cannot intervene through combat to prevent a capture or be intervened on.
  • Should avoid roaming the map if it could potentially lead to hostilities unless disguised.
  • Can host mini-events, spawn items, etc, with GM supervision. Also acts as a mentor figure and gateway to potential magic or plot hooks.
  • Can kill / be a threat, but should do so with good reason and at a high standard.
