Na'Ria

The First Archon. The False Angel. The Storyteller. The Aspect of Knowledge. The Mother of Blacklight's Beasts.
The story of Na'Ria was once mired in darkness.
Born as a spawn of the dreaded Archdemon-turned-Imperfect, Sak'noth, in the year of 2040AC, the lesser Demon of Secrets named Na'Ria manifested as its father once did in the wake of the Lord of Change's death in the flame of Ragnarök— a natural prodigy of etheric prowess and a notably powerful all-consuming Erebus elemental. The first Owldrake, its Kaor form— now the Demon of Knowledge— became a grand general of the usurped fel kingdom of Skarnfel, before overtaking it as its ruler, nested within a grand Obelisk of ruination.
At the twilight of 2071AC, Na'Ria would ascend into Imperfection. Under its control, the fel kingdom became an Empire; with the heft of the Kaorblade, Storyteller, the Demon King raged and ravaged the countryside, waging a mounting war against the Holy State of Aphros until one of the two lands would be broken and lost to time. In the fateful battle of the Vera Cruz district, where Aphros would be bathed in Helfire, Na'Ria was brought to its knees. In the year 2081AC, the Imperfect was slain, reduced to a disembodied, sealed Kaorblade in presence.
But the story of Na'Ria did not end there; the page turns, and a new chapter begins.
Through persistent effort to undo the divine seals of Jokul, meta-influence upon the narrative weave of the Story of Storyteller, and oft-believed long-lost arts of a forbidden, Divine caliber, the Imperfect was given a new life as a distinct, inverted self in a concerted effort. It is thus, with the Rite of Unreality of 2099AC, that Na'Ria was revived as Meranthe's very first Archon, hosting the potential of a new path for demonkind as a whole— a completed version of the self, separated of the taint of Hel.
With the Blacklight Ritual, her nascent potential has awakened; she herself has become the Storyteller, the Husk of the Kaorblade now becoming but The Storyteller's Exordium. Though the sins of her past may never be erased, she has sworn her prowess in an eternal penitence for the past self, pledging her works to the Light of Man— all the while, she works to better understand humanity, seeking to understand the creed she once held endless resentment towards.
Rumors
The validity of these claims is up to speculation.
- She has been described as a former Demon, and among its very strongest to boot. Scholars believe that, among the Imperfects that have existed in Meranthe, Na'Ria was only second to Varrach. This fact alone has led to her current self, which she believes hosts no true name of its own, being mired in quite the controversy for merely existing.
- Talguth claims Na'Ria is its Daughter, and Na'Ria claims Talguth as her Father; though not related by direct kinship, the two share a distinct, immutable bond, perhaps due to their similarities, perceived as they may be; whatever the case, the two are on nigh-immutably amicable terms with one another.
- It is said that Na'Ria has achieved a rudimentary form of Divine Magic, baring the secrets of the soul in a direct mirror to the Angels she so worships. Despite her allegedly wondrous capacities, she has sworn off of combat almost altogether, finding infinitely more pleasure in the art of Creation.
- The past self was one of the first Demons to achieve the elusive practice of Nullification, which has persisted in her new life as the Archon. Her newfound humanity, combined with her dulled or absent voice, makes her emotional state quite hard to discern, as well as her tone; there is a certain difficulty in communicating with her coherently because of this.
- Her Krausite belief, tied with her untold Knowledge, have led to inklings of godly and otherworldly materials being produced from the condensation of belief and life— to some degree of greater sacrifice to herself.
