Return to the Shimmering City

Half a decade, the time spent outside of the walls of the Shimmering City. The streets of Osrona were much quieter in this time. Magi that might normally occupy them off at school learning their own lessons. Young magi able to make their own decisions, to choose their own paths and decide who they are for themselves.
 
But, as graduation comes and passes, it is time to return. To return under the watchful eyes of the Stellus and Queen Regent. It is time to answer for choices both right and wrong.

I have silently watched this young generation grow, to most of you I was simply a figure in the background listening, watching. I have heard and seen much. And though I might not have acted on things within Starfall that will not hold true now that you return to the Shimmering City. You have all had your years to grow and build your experiences. See what the world might have to offer you.

 

Now that you return home, you will be subject to my expectations. To the expectations of our city. And, I'm sure you all know that it has been made clear there are certain individuals have shown that they are not willing to meet these expectations.

 

With the power of the crown behind me, the following individuals are hereby excommunicated from Osrona and stripped of all land and titles under the reason of treason;

These are the initial names that I have gathered under my own investigation. Odds are that throughout the next few months more will be added as they care to show their colors.

 

You will be given a chance to clear your name. If your name has been listed you have until the year ends to show yourself before your peers within the Shimmering City and speak on why you do not believe you are a traitor. Before them, you shall be judged and a decision shall be made. If you truly believe what you are doing is for the better of the city and have a means to prove it, then you will take this offer.

After a lengthy period of silence, a missive that spans the length of several pages is delivered directly to the Shimmering City, with meticulously handwritten copies scattered throughout the outskirts of Osrona; sheets of bound parchment are pinned to oaken trees and notice boards strewn throughout its territory, left sealed in the middle of roads to be plucked up by whomever, and placed at points of interest where they would surely be found and shared.
