Event Synopsis:

In an era long before the current noble houses and knights ruled Esshar, there was a time where devils and demons ravaged the lands unopposed. That was until an order of Demon Hunters known as Evil's Bane came together to bring the fight back to the demons.  Constructing a massive fortress at the base of a large volcano just a few miles from the demonic homeland, they took their stand. 

However these demon hunters had a secret plan in creating this fortress that would perhaps turn the tides of their battle. it was rumored that deep within the volcano there was a rare type of ore as well as an ancient forge that was capable of crafting weapons with unique properties that caused the demon hordes to cower in fear.

Understanding the value of this ancient forge, the order of demon hunters remained within that fortress until their last days. Following a large volcanic eruption it's assumed that all the old heroes are dead and demons now occupy the once great human fortress to protect their weakness from ever reaching human hands again.

The Red Wolf along with members of The Blackwatch would like to seek these ruins out and attempt to uncover it's secrets while banishing any evil that may occupy those walls now. A fortress for demon hunters should be controlled by The Blackwatch not demonic filth.

Specific Requests: This event has the potential to have multiple parts and I would appreciate them being handled by the same DM if possible. Also this is going to be a high character development event so an experienced DM is preferred.
