There's this Shengese dojo on the outskirts of Esshar. It's said to be home to some of the best swordsmen along with some of the swordsmiths in recent history. A sacred place, most who enter, leave the place proficient enough with a blade to be labeled a threat to Magi society. Rumor has it that they teach a special form of combat that involves using the spirit in tandem with swordsmanship. Unfortunately things haven't been so good as of late. 

A student practicing the occult had went mad. The Dojo's sensei had been attacked and killed, the most expensive blades had all been stolen and that student fled the scene. Naturally a bounty was placed on his head, but it wasn't enough.

Everyone that has ever been in pursuit of this student was met with an untimely death. They were desperate and in need of Magi assistance. The perfect setting for someone like Hain, a good opportunity to fight a powerful opponent!
