Following her coronation and military reform, the newly crowned Queen also releases another statement. Yet one more royal edict among many to come, it would appear. The missive dispatched throughout Osrona and its surrounding territories, both allies and alike.
Quote:It is with great honor and respect that I, Eisele rei Petrakis, Queen of Osrona and protector of its people, do hereby declare that henceforth both the Gardios and Gelmont family will be considered nobility. From this point forth their family and ancestors to come shall enjoy this honor, bearing the 'cos' particle forevermore.
The Gardios family has served Osrona and its people admirably for many decades now, first seen with Seifer Gardios and his wife, Zhrani. Now into the next generations with Elys Gardios and Claramonde Gardios. They have stood as strong adherents and supporters of our Celestial Faith for years. Their contributions have been numerous, and for their due diligence this honor is bestowed upon their family in full.
The Gelmont family has long since served as protectors of our realm, utilizing their blades in defense of Osrona and its people. Ael Gelmont's contributions are without parallel, staving off an assassination attempt on our former Queen, as well as serving as a loyal Crown's Guardsman for a number of years now, despite aging into his twilight years. His son, Achilles, is our current Lightbringer, and despite his recent issues has returned to Osrona in full force.
It is my pleasure to give these families the recognition they deserve, and I hope that in the years to come they will continue to serve dutifully, standing as examples to all of Osrona's citizenry.
In addition to this, it is rumored that the Queen looks for more families that can be bestowed with noble privilege. It is not something you ask for, however, and doing so disqualifies a family altogether. She will instead observe and watch, seeing if any distinguish themselves as particularly loyal and able.
