Did you ever swim against the current?

This is how it feels like. 
To struggle against something you can never truly win against.
With all that they have, with so many masses that flock to them..
What's the point?

It's futile anyway.
Feels like nothing will work.

No amount of rage,
or strength,
or wit, or wealth.
Nothing will help.

And besides...





It hurts.

All of my body, all of my wounds.
All that I already lost.
All of the diminished pride.
Or anything I've ever amounted to.

Maybe I should've been just like the rest.
Fall in line, take the stolen power that is not my own.
Feel happy. Feel glad. 

Feel good.

But would I?





I guess it's kinda late to find out.
And falling in line isn't my kind of living anyway.

All I ever wanted was to be the best hunter.
But instead, I have this...

I'm tired of being angry.

Tired of hurting.

... 

I don't have any choice but to keep going.

Better to die fighting than to live on your knees.
