Thank you all who came to my Debut! I know it was in a bit of an exclusive spot, but it was the only place that I could find the owner to, and it was very nice of him to allow me to perform. Now, I plan to perform around the world!

My name is Lapis, and I plan to sing to everyone one day!

Send a letter to Lapis, I currently live in Osrona, but that doesn't mean I might not perform in Pauper or something like that, so don't be shy!

A fee for singing may vary, if it's for a simple birthday party, I probably won't charge, but if I'm working for a place or doing a BIG event, I might ask for a small worker's fee.

Guidelines

• Willing to sing for Parties, Events, Private gatherings and even Funerals, although the music will be very sad.
  
• Don't worry about instruments, I'll be recruiting more band members soon, but for now I can mimic it with my magic.
  
• No fighting. I'm not a fighter and my music isn't meant for some drunken brawling.

UPDATE

Asphodel is currently Blacklisted from the list of places Lapis will sing. An Explanation follows.


Upon receiving a letter to perform, I walked to Asphodel despite a few warning, because I do not discriminate where I will perform, I believe the world should hear my music if they desire. Instead, I was told I would be fed to their Queen. I didn't comply, but it wasn't just because I didn't know the rules, or even that I didn't want to be bitten. It was because you lied to me.

Lied about wanting me to perform, one of my first jobs, and you used it against me.

So until I receive a real, sincere apology from someone there, I will not be performing at Asphodel. I am sorry if anyone there really did want to hear me sing, but being attacked after being lied to. I do despise that.

Update Update

Asphodel has been removed from the Blacklist for now, an announcement given.


After a bit of time and some letters of good will, it is clear that Asphodel in it's whole is not to blame for these mis-understandings, and that I will perform there if and when requested. However, there will need to be more thought and communication before I do so. Therefore, I will need to speak with the Viscount before I accept requests from Asphodel.

I do not discriminate where I perform, but I will need to be more cautious.

Thank you for your time, I am once again available to everyone in the form of requests and public events. Or, as soon as the rest of my injuries heal.

Battle of Rhymes




"I've heard a rumor of a man, or perhaps, of a beast who speaks only in Rhymes. Someone powerful. But I don't want to test how strong they might be, I want to test how strong their Rhymes are! After all, I might not be a fighter, but everyone needs a Rival!"

A small announcement is made, a challenge ushered towards the 'King of Rhymes'.

"Rigs, the man with the Digs. I can't swing a sword, but this duel won't leave you bored. I've got a challenge, might leave us with a singe. I've got game to spare for you, I've heard you've got game for me too. Some come on rigs let's have a battle, or mayhaps I'll have to shake a rattle!"

The Battle of Rhymes, These are the Times


Word spread to the Shadowmire of one trying to be dire and light the fire. If only they were a pyre because they tread the wire against those higher than a spire. It took a while to force a smile from the vile, perhaps he would walk the mile as they were trying to rile. It was his style.

Words would make their way, there wasn't much of a delay.

"I am the beast that will feast until deceased. You say it's how I speak, but I am the freak. King of Rhymes committer of Crimes rolling through the times, you think you got the power? Best not be a delicate flower in the hour otherwise things might get sour. Give me a place and I'll see your face, better brace as I give chase. Don't even need a mace."

It was clear by the letter, this fight will be a trend setter, the fight one she might lose, but one she decided to choose. A letter sent back, filled with words of flack. 

Time or place, let me give you the Grace.

I know you come from the mire, so somewhere close is what we desire, somewhere the woods won't burn from our fire, but not somewhere populated so they don't suffer out Ire.  Perhaps not in your hometown, but I like the idea being underground, I've seen a cave under the school, where we will see whose beats can rule. Some come King, let's sling, show bling and make it a thing. Ya dig, rigs?

Let me tell you fool that there isn't a tool that will stop your drool, try to be cool but I am a shining jewel who will take you to school in this dual. Best grab a stool as I use you for fuel."

Beaten But Not Broken

I lost...

But that doesn't mean I'll always lose. I don't plan to let the shame of defeat stick with me forever. And maybe one day, we'll get that rematch, King of Rhymes.

No Shows



After a time, it is finally announced that the Sapphire Singer will not be performing for a good while, if ever again. But she promises to keep smiling and trying to bring light to people's lives when she can.

Even though her eyes often drift, staring at the sky as if it could fall down at any moment.

"I did as I was told, I sang what I was given, fulfilled my duty. Is this the penance?"
