All my life I have seen war and strife grip Esshar in a lovers embrace, refusing to let it go. I have hacked, and slashed, fought, and bled to protect all I held dear, all I loved.

Ragnhild, Arden, Skadi, Vigr, Aurora, Toriel, Kael and Artro, and so many more.

For all the hardships I faced and the perils I endured,
for all the horrors I battled and the monsters I slew,
for all the wars I fought and the battles I persisted through,
My friends and family never abandoned me.

They showed me the good in the world and guided me through my darkest times, always trying to steer me where I needed to go.

I wish I had been better to them.

I am so very tired.
