An announcement from the castle of the Shimmering City would be issued, updating the city on the promotions to various figures within the city.

"The reforms to the royal family and the city at large are still in progress of being administered and written into law. But through the past few years, a few individuals have proven themselves to be worthy of the trust and authority of the throne.

As such, I'm pleased to announce the following appointments.

Laila has been appointed to the position of Minister of Social Balance. Her duties focus on the fair application of the law amongst all echelons of society, and providing a voice to the underserved in our city and beyond the walls. In time, she'll be able to handle in part the judicial duties of the crown, and deal with the more minor transgressions in my place, when the Second Dawn requires assistance. Any crime that may result in a verdict of execution or exile will still be brought before the throne, even once she's taken over in full.

Andrial has been promoted to the position of Minister of Research, which she's already put into effect with the creation of the blood bane potion. Her role is focused on the research and development of new technologies and innovations that are not weapons of war. While they may have defensive applications as in the potion, anything that advances our society for the better can be considered in her purview.

Thyme Pualani has been appointed to the position of my personal assistant and retainer. Most of her duties are administrative and will remain out of the public eye but on occasion, she may be requested to meet people or speak in my place. If she does so, she does it at my request and it can be treated as if I myself were asking.

Last but most certainly not least, Ael Gelmont was offered and has accepted the position of Champion, for his heroism in saving my life from the Warlock Hypnos. I will take this opportunity to thank him once more, for his selfless heroism, strength, and devotion to this city at large.

There remains one slot within the Ministry, should there be proper dedication and devotion within our walls.
