- The final statements of Dragonlord Doriya Helenium

Following the death of Dragonlord Colette Grace, Dragonlord Doriya Helenium has stepped down from her position and passed the mantle to Warlord Acheron Erebus. After serving the Fireblooded for twenty years, the youngest Dragonlord to ever be named, the prior Dragonlord relieves the position to the newer generation and encourages the inactive and negligent Dragonlords of the Fireblooded to do the same.

With her position passed to a bright new future, the Helenium has disappeared from Garjling's Coat. Her home passed on to her children within the Coat, her possessions missing alongside the woman. A single note was left behind in her disappearance.

Following the betrayal and abandonment of former Dragonlord Doriya Helenium,
her own daughter issues a challenge to the one named as her successor.

"When she disgraced my family and our people with her infidelity,
it was I who stood up and challenged her for what she had done.
Who fought tooth and nail,
simply to try and reclaim some fragment of the honor she had lost for us with her mistakes.

She asked me to learn beneath her too, you know, to become her successor.
With her own mouth she said the other didn't have their priorities straight.
I will not stand beneath a Warlord named by a traitor.

I refused her offer, because I knew she could offer nothing.
One Dragonlord has died, another abandoned us.
To be Dragonlord is my inevitable destiny.

With no other waking Lords to speak of I, Rhiannon, challenge you, Acheron Erebus.
To face me before all of Garljing's Coat, and her allies.
Better a young leader than one named by a turncoat.
May the winner take all, and the Red God be appeased.

A gathering could be seen taking shape among the gates of the Coat as the Vartuul boy stands to leave a message to anyone that was able to spread clearly around every corner of Esshar without an single exception.

At the call of the newly acclaimed Warlord, the collective masses of the Coat congregate towards the temple. Staring patiently, waiting to hear what is to come from their first public announcement, as the message would be shared across all of Esshar.

"My accession towards this title has surely caused some unrest amongst the Coat. 

Unsure of my true intentions, or what I will plan for the future, as I, Warlord Acheron Erebus,

came into power by the Dragonlord Doriya, who has recently stepped down and lost your trust.

However, I vow to give my mind, body, and soul towards the future of the Coat. As the great Divines, Garljing included,

will bear witness towards the fruitful endeavors that we will make for our growth.

Here, as I stand before you all, only ask for one thing.

To allow my actions to speak for themselves, to show that I will do much more than

 hide away in a cave while calamities strike from afar.

My door will always be open to those who wish to speak, as a leader without their people is naught but a fool.

I will hear your calls, and for anyone who considers themselves worthier of this title than me.

A gathering took place at the gauntlet, individuals from all over, those known and unknown came to attend to see if the newly acclaimed Warlord would keep his seat, or lose it to the audacious Flame Herald, Rhiannon.

Through a long, hard fought battle, Acheron Erebus remains as Warlord of the Coat. Sparing Rhiannon's life and choosing to move forward for the benefit of the Fireblooded!

"As the Mighty Red god has witnessed of our activities in his name, I, Acheron Erebus, will now stand as the reigning Warlord of the Coat. I will hold all of its' values in the highest regard, and do what must be done sin order to see that we will not fall to the horrors that plague Esshar. In the name of the Divines, I swear to keep true to our ways. To rebuild our nation and to follow our traditions.

I swear to uphold this title, bestowed upon me by my predecessor Doriya Helenium.

I will carry this mantle, as a beacon of strength, to fill the void that my predecessor left behind.

Everything that I will do from this day on, will be for our family, for our people, for, as Colette Grace would have put it, our team.

Esshar will once again feel the Fireblooded's might."
