The Children of the Weaver

Quote:
"Do you hunger for the unknown, the new? Does it call to you?
Do you love the finer things in life; good food, good drink, lavish clothing? Do you wish to so indulge?
Do your responsibilities weigh you down, those shackles your society calls 'virtues'? Do you wish to be free?
Does the order of things draw your ire, those in power unworthy of it? Do you wish to expose their inferiority?
If you answered these questions in the affirmative, you have come to the right place. Her way may well be your way."

The Children of the Weaver are a slowly growing community of faith within Moxtli, numbering those who see the Weaver's path as worthy of following beyond those of the other patrons of the Tribes. While the most zealous among them are Teraphim who have left the Vale to help strengthen the Weaver's foothold in the material world, the influence of the faith has spread amongst those in the Tribes who enjoy indulging their baser appetites, or respect the ideals of personal freedom represented.

As of 1861 AC, the essential leader of this group is Head Shaman Enna, with lieutenants including newly-appointed Warchief Felaeryn. They are both receptive to those who might be interesting in learning of and/or embracing the way of the Weaver, which is summarised in the following points:

Hedonism: Followers of the Weaver embrace life at its fullest, seeking new and entertaining experiences, and indulging in all manner of things, from fine food and alcohol to drug use, though given the source of the supply and the fact it is banned within the Tribes Sylavanum use is discouraged.

Cunning: The Children of the Weaver have an element of trickery to them, from innocent jokes to rather darker 'pranks' that could well end in the loss of a limb. While their existence is hotly contested, if Moxtli spies exist, more than a few are likely to belong to this sect.

Discord: Stagnancy and the ideals of 'Order' are boring, and if nothing else the Children of the Weaver are taught to avoid being bored. The Moxtli society lends well to this ideal, with the power structure being more...flexible than most. Still, its polite to refrain from such chaos within the group, given its early nature and the likelihood a few wrong dominoes being knocked over could end it entirely.

A persistent call echoes into the Vale, an open invitation for those Teraphim who follow the Weaver to join the community in the Moxtli Tribes, and those within the Tribes - and Esshar as a whole, especially the newly-made Teraphim of the Academy - who find the beliefs resonate them are welcome to join as well. The Weaver's Great Web after all is large, and touches many places.
