A Spiders Warning

The Shadowmire rumbles as snapping and skittering can be heard from within. Occult power coalesces into an almost unbreathable fog. Webs are littered all over the Mire, housing blackened Spiders.

Rumors and whispers continue to spread. From within the Mire, a new monster rises. One with the rumored power to defeat even the dreaded Lich himself.

How long must my people continue to be hunted down? Exterminated? Kidnapped? For years, I have been on the sidelines, watching as the people I have sworn to protect continue to be abused, maimed, and harmed.

Claudette, the Devil of Esshar, is Dead. She chose me as her successor.

And when the Lich himself lashed out at me, I fought him back, and returned to the Mire.

I hold the same Book she held. Do you remember what Book that might be?

For too long I have done nothing for my people. Not anymore.

I am the Prophet of Nyx.

I am the Harbinger of Darkness.

And I will not tolerate those who bring harm to the Children of the Mire.

On the other hand. Whispers would be heard from the shadows. In the deep corners and alleyways, where light rarely touches. In caves and caverns, there would be a call to power. A call to those who wish to find a place where they are accepted. To all the outcasts, they hear whispers of a place they could call home.

They are beckoned to the Shadowmire. For it needs new warriors, children, and family.

Come. Those who are cast out, abandoned, and unloved. Come and join us in the Mire, for Mothers love extends to all. No one will be left alone, and we will always accept those who long for a family that cares for them.
