With the many sightings of the Paupers Bride comes tales of her captains exploits, the return of a Reave as the herald of the Deep One stirs the dreams of all those who live near the sea. Having one so deeply connected to the Mori allows it to reach out from the abyssal grave in which it slumbers.
More than often Sailors are found shaking in their boots, leaving their boats abandoned to rot in fear of encountering the Dread Captain Reave for they see his gaze in their nightmares.

Just when you thought you might have a restful slumber
You awaken in a cold sweat, within those dreams you hear whispers.
Whispers that awaken the madness within.

Songs once sung turn into horror stories, entire crews reduced to Fogfolk, shadows of their former selves forced to slave away for the Deep One and its Herald. Battlefields where the Captain has fought are stained with patches of ghostly warriors waging endless wars in futility, their souls warped by the magics of the Deep. Where even those who manage to escape are scarred far worse than the dead, wounds in their minds that would never heal.

Rumors on the rise, that this very same Dread Captain seeks a crew of those seeking the gift of freedom on the High Seas.
The Deep Company arises again, the Black Fog of the Paupers Bride signals the rise of the Herald of the Deep.
