        People of Achyon,


Our city has been faced with hardship as of late. After facing Osrona’s navy, and attacking the Vanir, our beloved city has been left in ruin. Monsters roamed our streets, crime rate hit all-time highs, and a plague of conquest swept the land. With a severed connection to Barsburg, it is only a matter of time before Achyon collapses, leaving only the depictions written by her enemies.

Is this the city of progress, or the city of compromise? When the road is blocked by a wall of opposition and chaos, I implore you not to fall back and cower in fear, but to gather your courage and push forward with unrelenting force. Let not the failure of the past taint the hearts of the ambitious. Let the words of naysayers fall silent under the cries of the heroes of progress. Stand tall, and defend your home from oblivion. Together, we will thrust Achyon into the future, shoot for the stars and shatter the sky.

This goal cannot be achieved without meaningful changes and adaptations.

Achyon’s arms should open to the magics of the world, the ideas present beyond our walls, and to methods previously retired, or unused. Achyon should be a mecca of information, a capitol of thinking, and an open forum of knowledge and wisdom. We should not oppose those that think differently, but rather learn from them.

Since Commander Augustus, my father, passed away, the city has fallen from grace. I strive to return the city to its former glory, and one day command as he had. With hard work and cooperation, Achyon will one day shine brighter than the shimmering city, glistening with the bright minds of future generations.
