Some nights, a pale, short, feminine figure with demonic horns can be seen on the highest reaches of Tarian, sitting beside two gravestones.

Did I ever tell you the story of Dun Task?
I was named after him, you know that.
Duniya Task Hintze.
Anyway, dear, the man was Theria's first Overlord. He was among the first Therians to face Garljing head on.
He was bathed in flames, burned alive. They call it the Trial of Dun up there.
Some say that when Garljing's fire touched him, it cursed him for his entire life.
I'm inclined to agree.
He lived to the age of one hundred and twenty something.
A long life, in which he saw all those he loved die and tear one another apart.
We're going up to face him with our tributes tomorrow, right, Orodyn?
I hope he does not burn me, and inflict the very same curse.
The name Task makes you a magnet for sorrow.
With you and Varceal leading the charge, though...
I am sure everything will be fine.
