Old Heroes

Northeast off the plateau that is now the humble farming village known as Nysea; lies an abandoned church. Once owned and operated by the Church of the Faith long ago, it lies dormant. Desolated and destroyed by the elements, it lies in silence. A relic of the old world that was now long gone. Cordelia along with an entourage of other Acolytes would have been given the assignment to scope out and retrieve long-lost relics of the past. Books, artifacts, or whatever might catch the interest of any Acolyte that wishes to expand their knowledge. Would the Acolytes have a peaceful and fruitful journey as they explore this abandoned church? Or....

Did something else lie in wait? Waiting to meet them?

Additional Info: I want this to be an event that will encourage other Acolytes and members of the Faith to want to join and come along too! I'm still brainstorming the story and the idea but I want it to something that can possibly add to the lore of the Faith if possible. Or at the very least be an experience that can give development for all of the Acolytes/Faith members that are involved.
