Battle of Fort Umbra

1846 A.C.

Per the order of Queen Falkenrath, a combined force of Asphodel's soldiers and Vanirhallan warriors can be spotted converging upon the southeast of Esshar. After contending with Shadowmire presence for the last decade, the Crimson Court is making a push to seize control of Fort Umbra, and cut off means of travel for the monsters.

It is clear the Crimson Court is seeking to have full control of the peninsula, and will utilize Fort Umbra as a forward base in this end, should it be successfully seized. 

"For too long have we dealt with the barbarism of Shadowmire's monsters. Their savagery, as well as their blatant disregard for civility and order cannot be understated. It is my prerogative as monarch to see them driven back to their swamp, and to this end the first target can only be Fort Umbra. We must cut off the head of the snake, but first only by taking away their means of travel and supply.

We have hunted more monsters than the likes of the more 'good' nations upon Esshar, who would rather have them teaching their children at the academy. Asphodel, however, will not let this stand. We will strike them where they slither in the dark, and bring about an era where they cannot find holes to exist in.

Torgon killed Augustus Vorenii, and for this the only just recompense can be his own death. It is unclear whether or not those of Achyon will join us in our assault, but if they do not I shall seize vengeance for them.

The battle is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, May 30th, to begin at 6 P.M. EST
