Within the old tomes of Starfall's inner library, Cosette discovers accounts of villages hollowed out and bled dry by beings with a lust for power and mischief. Said beings range from servants of Hel to children with bad ideas, but the one who snags her attention is an old scientist named Crowley. His methods of destruction are unknown. But, the place where he wreaked his havoc -- a small, desolate settlement in the midst of a deep-dark wood -- is quite clearly outlined on a map.
Even more damning: the lights to his laboratory, once thought to be long-abandoned, are now blazing bright. Word travels; reaches the ears of Cosette and her friends.
They follow this light, in hopes of uncovering whatever secrets the laboratory may hold...and of course, they know, that it won't be an easy journey.
Character: Cosette Amos.
Attendees: Will be invited ICly. Max of five people (Cosette included).
Tone: Spooky. Kooky old science stuff. Tim Burton-esque. Brushes with ~Forbidden Knowledge~.
Risk: High CoI?
DM: Open!
Reward(s): Lab journal full of spooky, forbidden stuff for Cosette. + Whatever else for the party (to be discussed with DM?). Dev/scene material, basically. maybe weird monster ... demon organs ... ??
