Before the outskirts of the Shimmering City, something brews upon its walls. Literally.

Kingsmen lay tale of an odd scent before one of the main thoroughfares leading into the central walkways of Osrona. Upon further investigation, an odd show of vandalism is found. Passerbys mention about a shadowed figure bearing an ornate mask of ivory. It was almost seemingly flowy in its movements; some have even described it much like a wisp or a ghost. Its work was swift, leaving a peculiar trail of paint as the perpetrator disappeared before any figure of authority arrived.

An ensemble of odd paint has been assembled to create what looks to be a statement made visual. It depicts a wailing figure of what looks to be a man in robes, being the oddest embers of magmatic and temporal prowess. His hands are up, defensive, much like a cornered animal protecting itself from any predator. Piercing his chest, much like a dagger, seems to be an ornate staff lined with gold as an odd golden eye unapologetically watches with a judgmental stare. It looks religious in context, and seems awfully similar to the weapon held by a certain Lightbringer. By the bottom of the painting, a beautiful set of cursive text impose a specific message:

”Your pain is THEIR ‘blessing’.”

Those that are aware of recent events are incited and reminded of a peculiar scuffle earlier in the day. One that involved intervention upon a specific templar of the Blind Goddess. The usage of 'blessing' itself seemed to be a direct quote and was all too familiar considering the depicted image. Thus, this piece seemed to be a clear statement upon such.

With a successful first few batches of budding students, Starfall Academy has always been revered as something much akin to a high-profile Academy where only the best of Esshar resides in for tutelage. But then again, some may say it's seen some better days.

Word of a masked ghost has been said to roam the hallowed halls one fateful evening. Some students related it to a school ghost story, others mention it to be nothing more than a figment of one's imagination. Though once morning hits, perhaps things begin to be more clear on what exactly visited the fine walls of Starfall.

Graffiti once more finds itself somewhere new. The pungent aroma of paint vying for passerby's noses fill the air as any mundane and nonmagical attempts to cleanse this stain is met with vain failures.

This one depicts the drawing of one peculiar white-haired figure; feminine. They seem to be encapsulated in an odd combination of magmatic embers and replenishing waters, but above those two features leaves odd black splotches that any sane person could assume may be either occultic or shadow in nature.

Behind her, by a clean blackboard, one word is scribbled in an intimidating font: Murder. Before her, an array of figures sit, seemingly listening attentively to the scribbled out face of this teacher figure. By the bottom, the text is written, seemingly like an advertisement on a flyer.

”Starfall Academy: Where occultists enable future murderers.”

Another mark of this mysterious enigmatic ghost lays more murmurs and whispers among those in Esshar. Surely, the people called out in these paintings are in the wrong if they illicit such methods of scapegoating?

Between the busiest thoroughfares that line the outskirts of Osrona, where the path betwixt the tribes of Moxtli and the peaks of Garljing's Coat would see such a sight loud and clear, comfort is disturbed. One faithful morn left passerbys baffled. What normally is a covert presence soon makes its masterpiece clear as day.

Its face still masked behind an enigma, assuming it had one in the first place. Figures pray tell of a pristinely white countenance, one that held an eerie expression that paid no mind to observers. Instead, its focus fell upon a message it brought out.

A tumbling figure of earth breaks the mold as witnesses claim the ghost's hands were swift with a chisel and a brush. In a moment, a statue and a statement seems to have been formed. One that the populace seems to bear a disdain to.

A statue of basalt stood depicting what seems to be a regal Dullahan. Its figure made to pose in a mocking form as it faces what seems to be the Shimmering City itself; taunting it. Above it, the words "Your 'Mentor' & 'King'" are slathered in paint, staining the stone wall of the western exit of Osrona. By the bottom of the statue, a plaque is left:

"The King of Dullahans, your children’s newest mentor, exclusively at Starfall Academy. Will they truly join Mother Nyx? Seems so!”

Onlookers mentioned the Knight-Keeper facing the vandal head on, yet the elusive figure is uncaught. It seems to have sought to make a statement, and yet many claimed the ghost to have been taunting throughout the exchange. Claiming the knights to have focused more on harmless vandalism versus the teachings of shadowed creatures within the Academy.

A group of Cadets and helpful citizens endeavor to clean up the markings defacing their city. Using a mix of magic, alchemy, and elbow grease these citizens of all walks of life are eager to see their city live up to its name again.

Hopefully this will show whomever has done this that their work will not remain up for long.

The previous cleaning operation led by a group of cadets and lawful citizen inspired a few more people around Osrona to go and help. Even the nobles from House Pelleaux and a few friends were inspired to help! So they ventured out to wash down yet another piece of graffiti.

Quote:
"What's that even supposed to mean?"

"This is awful... who would even do such a thing?"

"It's stuff like this that makes you wonder, why would anyone do this?
I cant seem to tell what else it could be depicting, either. A golden eye spectated what seems to be a Man's death. Is it a rhoynish, perhaps?
Additionally... It's almost like a holy weapon. Odd."

One step further to a clean Osrona...
