Quote:"For nearly thirty years our predecessors have tried and struggled to finally earn a true foothold on Esshar. We've fought tooth and nail since we were children to hold our Outpost, to protect ourselves, and to prove we were worthy of our heritage. To be Vanir is to embrace struggle, to never back down in the face of adversity."
"We've earned our marks in blood, and this desert is our home upon Esshar. The fleet is sending reinforcements to help us start building, all we have to do is ensure the area is secured by the time they arrive."
"It's time we do what none before us were able."--Revna Rune, Expedition Leader of the Aesirheim Fleet
It was after this announcement that those who wandered close to the Outpost could note a state of increased activity as materials were piled and structures began to spring up along the shore. The supply ships would need places to make land, but in the meantime? The armed forces of the Vanir both Magi and non-Magi alike could be seen reinforcing the area even further than before the Shadowmire's failed assault, spiked barriers constructed along the peninsula they had dwelled on for so long as increased patrols could be noted.
It was clear they expected opposition, but the Vanir would be ready to meet whoever came.
