Fear not, the proud Golden Lion is here.

Lando cares not for the rite of cadetry, and instead demands him be made a radiant firsthand to both Stellus and Lightbearer.

Yet, things weren't simply so easy, now were they? Even for the virtuous few.

"Furthermore, I swear to protect all that... uh require my protection, and not to slay an undeserving adversary. Nor to take part in... er, betrayal?"

Lando's oath to the Order of the Second Dawn grows unruly, as a single and second hearing of the whole sworn code suffice not for him to memorize and chant back uninterruptedly.

The lightbearer hesitates, confiding that she needs to trust his words in order to accept him into Cadetry and make him rise as a member of the Order.

It takes a second iteration, from another aspirant's mouth, for him to correctly recall all of the evocation and sworn words.

He crosses his heart with the signal of the faith, for he needs blessing in order to cast virtue unto his memory and swear with aptitude.

Risen anew, he joins as a Cadet, under forewarning from Lady Soleis that an assault may be in short order soon.

But, what was there to worry about? Hardly any foremention was necessary, when a situation was in the hands of a true elite prodigy like himself.

What would it take to prove his needlessly hyped-up and inflated talent? The direct wounding of an Achyonite captain?

"Fufufufu... The greatest forces of Achyon should know best not to mess with a masterpiece of a warrior such as myself!"

No problem.

Love is blindness.
But war, too, is so.

The curtain rises for a top I wanted not.
For the right to say that lacked a pursuit so hot.

Bear the light, Rhesus told. And thus I turned the weight of choice aloft.
A right that wasn't mine to wield, had fate not willed against so oft?

An ashen path asks me to lead, every knight's eyes perch themselves on me - is it truly a boon?
My word goes, and swords and shields torque in lieu.
Hessalia is next, short in wait, to come so soon. Will they know when they see me, too?

Avel.

Grandfather dear.

Tell me. What would you do?
