Inherited Burden

Many people leave things unfinished. Many people lament on it for a week. Some people regret it for years. All they do is talk about it for hours on end. To the point their regret might leak unto the hearts of others. I know from experience and I can tell you it really ruins how you look at that person. However maybe call me stupid but I felt like it was my duty to take that burden from the grave. Make it my own and become a man. 


I watched my dad wither away from his regrets. My eyes caught every thing. In his last moment my ears caught his wisdom. So tonight I'm going to leave. I'll let you rest in peace. I'll let your bones float in your beloved ocean. While I float above the waters to walk on land and trace your footsteps.
