The Forgotten Hamlet

It's funny, how easily we forget things...

But some things, we simply cannot forget.

Nor forgive.

Synopsis: An old Hamlet between Achyon and Osrona, it once was a place which garnished traction, a bustling hive of trade between all sorts of Essharian peoples. Fireblooded, Mox, Achyon, and Osronians alike traveled its roads oh so frequently. However, nearly eighteen years ago a series of... Unfortunate events befell it. First, was the execution of one of the village Elders on the claim of witchcraft. Second was the maiming of two young boys, one whom was crippled for life from the knees down, and the other who had suffered severe mutilation of his face. Third came a pox which fell upon the hamlet, ravishing it economically and socially. A once thriving place of trade, became a place of seclusion. With rumors saying it was cursed, many would move away... Or simply avoid it. Its population is now mostly composed of struggling, sickly non-magi. Families, and the like. With the 'Head' of this small population being an aged blind illusionist and his magicless family.

It's also where Cee was born.

Compelled by a nightmare. Cee seeks to return home, one last time. To finish what they had started.

Attendees: They shall be invited icly, possibly only 1 other person
Tone: I should feel disgusted with my character and who they are as a person after this event is over, on a moral level.
Risk: Low CoI, most battles should be skewered in the PCs favor, to truly emphasize the atrocities they're planning to commit.
Reward: Nothing. If the DM wants to supply something, sure. But it should be something which will haunt the PCs involved.
