Passerby rumors near the Riverside Ryukyu inn spread to all circles of the world.
She is caught! With robes of red and platinum blonde hair, an Achyonite lass has been dragged into the Fireblooded territory after being captured by the husband of Violet Vartuul.

Word around is that her fate lies with their worshipped god, Garjling, given to as tribute and as a reminder to all that no Achyonite is safe from such fates. Followers of the Machine are to be cast down with the full brunt and might of both Osrona and the Fireblooded.

'I hear she's had her eyes gouged out!'
'I've heard they ripped out the poor girl's tongue! Poor, poor thing.'
'No, no! That isn't how it is at all. I saw her and she was missing an arm and a leg. They are savages!'

Natasha Vanrouge has been captured and is set to be given as tribute to the great dragon. 
Rumors of her condition follow and it is said that what is left of her has been left on the mountain to rot until they send her off formally.

The Sacrifice of Natasha Vanrouge shall commence on the final month of year 1825: February the 7th, Sunday.

Similar rumors flow out of Achyon and its surrounding territories following the capture of Natasha. A specialized rescue squad is put together, and one particular holy Fireblooded is dragged up with them following his detainment at the Silverwall Mines, Umbra Cysgol. He's been beaten, starved, and tortured. They plan to ambush the ritual, retrieve Natasha, and kill him all in the same night.

News of the battle soon spreads. Led victorious by Captain Marcel, the squadron of Achyon magi successfully rescue Natasha from her fated doom with the Red God. Additionally, Leilah Argyris was captured by Sanguinius and given a dose of lethal poison while staring into the eyes of her lover, Umbra, who was shot dead by Alexei as promised prior, the two dying in the same moment and falling into each other's embrace.
