Soon after his promotion, Captain Augustus Vorenii announced a new division within the ranks of Achyon's Hand.

The Imperial Inquisitors

• Dedicated to handling domestic affairs, the Inquisitors are responsible for the investigation and gathering of intelligence on suspected traitors, terrorists and those who seek to disparage or harm the Empire.
  
• National and International affairs sometimes demand  the presence of an Inquisitor, in which they will be sent as Spies or Diplomats to carry out the will of the Empire.
  
• While not all Inquisitors are active members of the Military, a great overlap is often found and enlisted service is highly encouraged.
  
• Inquisitors are expected to be astute investigators with a keen eye for subtle details, so too are they expected to have an immaculate understanding of Imperial Law and Imperial Doctrine.
