Recounted for those who were unable to attend, Bruno pyr Aertas's speech in Achyon in the year 1823AC is shared by his loyal follower— Celicia. A transcript of such is shared far and wide and is bound to reach the ears of many.

Quote:
"Spirits. Divines. Primordials. Stars.

Each and every single one of them affirms their story to be true, their tale to be the right one to follow. Most will claim to be all-powerful, yet evil, pain, and suffering still exists upon Esshar. Either those humanity believe in wish to do away with evil and cannot; or they can yet care little for those who follow their principles.

The dogma laid upon mankind by those horrifying beliefs is absurd. It demands sacrifice. It demands prayer. It demands pain. And in turn those who have suffered, fought, bled, and died for their lord are granted the opportunity to be ruled by them. Those who so willingly submit to the divine will carry with them a sense of pride, of morality.

They shackle themselves with it.

Religious morality is one of resignation and sacrifice, a morality which may be dear to the weak, to the degenerate, to slaves, but which results in the diminution of reason and human personality. It bends man toward the earth, making him a slave to divinity. It favors the conservation of those primitive sentiments which belong to that period of animal life long left behind, and transforms the thinking being into a passive sheep who lives in the fear of the universal judgment.

Religious morality shows the original stigmata of authoritarianism precisely because it pretends to be the revelation of divine authority. In order to translate this authoritarianism into action and impose it upon humanity, the priestly caste of revealers has sprung up and with it the most atrocious intolerance.

Certain it is that religion is a psychic disease of the brain, a contraction, a tightening up of the individual who, if he is profoundly religious, appears to us as abnormal.

The history of many saints, beatified by the church, is repugnant. It shows nothing more than a profound aberration of the human spirit in search of ultra-terrestrial chimeras; it is a delirium which can attain the state of spasms of passion and which ends in madness.

Many of those who today hover over the altars of the Celestial Church are pathological cases, hysterics, and demonomaniacs.

Religion is the sylavanum of the people.

Religion presents itself to our eyes in another characteristic: the atrophy of reason. The faculty by which man is differentiated from the lower animals is his reasoning power. But the devout believer renounces reason, refuses to explain the things which surround him. the innumerable natural phenomena, because his religious faith is enough for him. The brain loses the habit of thinking; and this religious sottishness hurls mankind back into animalism.

Religion has shown itself in the open as the institution whose aim is political power by which to externalize the exploitation and the ignorance of the people.

Free yourselves from those shackles. Shatter the binds that keep humanity from growing, from making their own destiny. Those who do not walk our land should not rule it.

It is time for revolution. For evolution. Already have those who were granted my blessing ascended. Already have they torn away the pathetic life granted to them by those who demand dedication and sacrifice.

I aim not to rule over humanity, but to guide it towards a greater tomorrow. To allow for mankind to grasp its destiny with its own two hands and make what it will of it.

Freedom.

I do no discriminate, I do not demonize. I, Bruno pyr Aertas, demand nothing more than loyalty. You do not have to fight at my side. You do not have to defend me. You do not have to approve of my words and my ideals; so long as you walk the path of evolution, the path of man among your peers you will grow. You will ascend, as have the others before you.

The time of man has come.

I extend my offer, my blessing to all. Even those who bear hatred towards me. Even the ones who have made the mistake of striking against me. There is no discrimination.

There will never be.

I dream of a New World where humanity makes the decisions for itself, relying not on entities who do not walk these lands to guide their lives.

Thank you for your time."

By Celicia herself, a couple faithful words are offered to the masses as well.

Quote:
"Surrounded by people who were born special, it's hard not to feel insignificant, isn't it? It's fine to envy! It's fine to be afraid, not knowing whether or not you'll live another day. The world is full of many, many uncertainties, after all.

The worst thing you can do in your moments of weakness is rely on the divine.

Your prayers will never be heard. No matter how much you dedicate yourself to something you believe to be far above mankind, you'll only be used and cast aside. You'll waste years of your life never moving a single inch forward. Adhering to pointless morals, lost in inadequacy, and soon forgotten by all of history.

The one who controls your fate is you.

If you want to become something more, offer your loyalty to the very man who can guide you! If Bruno hadn't saved me long ago, I'd still be stuck clinging to meaningless, empty ideals while knelt in prayer and blinded by the light of cold, distant stars.

As someone who was once a devout priestess of the Celestial Church, allow me to hereby preach the truth to you, as opposed to comforting lies. If you desire it in your heart, I'll show you the path forward.

No longer will you have to feel small and helpless ever again.

Everything you seek will lie within your reach."

Any and all are invited to strive for ascendance under his watchful eye. Above all else, one thing remains certain:

Change is coming to Esshar.
