Rumors began to circulate that a Fae by the name of Xian often rests on the border of the Mire and the Academy, greeting all who approach her with a smile and cordiality. Of course, the rules are that students shouldn't interact with monsters, and yet this one seems harmless enough.

But, the rumors continue, she offers those who pass a game. Sometimes of chance, sometimes of wits. That you can ask for knowledge, for her aid, perhaps even a blessing. And that she has never been seen to cheat her way out.

Those who lose? Well what's a little blood between new friends right? You'll know what you're getting into after all.
