To the north lie villages on a smaller island filled with merchant crews and naval forces to guard them. As they trade their goods as normal they’ve attracted a battalion of ex mercenaries looking for more than a paycheck.
Lead by their Brutish commander he promises them land and riches that’d never end so long as they defeated everything in their way. With no magi inhabiting the island it was an easy score and could’ve been held for some time.
However, a merchant ship sailing eastern colors named the Evergreens made landfall upon an Osronan requesting reinforcements.
A cry for help would ring through the city.
A beacon of light would heed their call.
