Colored Names!
#1
So, currently, we have green, white and red nameplates available. I honestly think this is a really cool concept that could be expanded upon!

Green is obviously for newbies below 50 hours, and definitely should be kept as such.
White being the average player is perfectly fine.

I was thinking maybe there could be some rewards for hitting certain /activity levels?

IE: 50 dangers, a permanent red name for those who've seen some shit. 500 hours, a blue name for veteran RPers. I'm sure there could be others too, basically colors for achievements, and since it's purely cosmetic I think it would be easy to implement?

I wouldn't give a permanent red name to someone who's seen fifty dangers but I'd definitely be down for colored names for veteran players.

If there's a reward for dangers, it should be a different color to stand out from the usual "Red", just so someone can tell if they have or haven't just recently been in one.

I may or may not want a permanent red name on Carnivore because it fits and that might be a little bias there
But I also see no harm in it...

Anyways yeah, it could be a slight tone different I suppose. Maybe a more 'dried blood' tone?

so long as people aren't able to customize their own color i'm cool with it.
i'm not ready for someone's name to be a gradient between green and orange.

what would be cool would be for specific skills to grant your name a color change when activated.

ie: sin colors
cosmic colors
death/barrier/white

maybe.

I like the idea of colored names for veterans, but there'd have to be a different way of determining it rather than time online. Otherwise you could just.. log a char in and not RP at all for a few weeks and boom have veteran coloring but still no clue what you're doing.

Maybe /activity could be made not to count time marked as AFK? If it doesn't already do that. Seems simple enough in theory...
