The Iyali Games

"Day... after day... you will be hunted. The hunt will only end when you swallow your pride and ask Favi for forgiveness."

These were the words spoken by Moxtli's chieftain towards me. He dared to ask for an apology after his brother assaulted and mugged me. More courageous men have attempted to take my life before, and few were as cowardly as to find an excuse to bring battle upon me.

Alas, a mistake was made when the Iyali Tribe has declared war upon the Ilian Clan. I, Kofe, have accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish on Esshar. My brother and I retrieved every artifact that was stolen from our people for hundreds of years. Our kind was freed after the war seventy years ago. I had a wife. I had kids. I've seen the world.

I've seen war.

The city behind my back is no longer.
The army I possess has long died.

I may not have as many living relative as you do, Yaluk Ixtan, but what I do possess are treasures greater than any other. And I've left all of them in one place. It is far beneath the sea that they've been tucked away from the world's eyes.

Alabastre: The Sunken City of Secrets

The rumors are true. I know of its existence. I know how to reach it, and I know every peril that awaits those who dare enter it. The interest for an expedition within its depths grows with each passing year. Time is long overdue for me to open the gates once more. To unveil to the world the treasures that stood long before my own time.

And what more fun is there to that than to make a game out of it?

Ladies, gentlemen, and witches of Esshar I present to you...

The Iyali Games are now officially open. The goal of the games is to bring as much harm upon the Iyali tribe as one can. There are no rules, there are no teams, and the prizes will be clear. Here are how points will be obtained:

A dangerous battle against the Iyali will yield 1 point.
Victory over the Iyali will yield an additional 1 point.
Bringing harm upon them will grant 1 point.
A scar for life? That's worth 2 points!
The capture and delivery of an Iyali grants 3 points.
And if you kill one of them? 5 points!

I, Kofe, will declare the games over when Yaluk Ixtan is either dead or delivered to me. Should one deliver the Chieftain and leader of the Iyali tribe to me they will be rewarded with an additional five points, seeing as you will have cast his death with that action alone.

Some may see this as bloodshed and to those who speak of their discontent I can quell the rage in your heart with these few words: I am Rhoynish.

Now, on to the prizes!

1st place prize
The legendary relic: Earth, Sea & Fire as well as being the first of this generation to explore Alabastre with their chosen companions!

2nd place prize
The Cloak of Discovery once owned by Caleb Pelleaux as well as being part of the second expedition to the sunken City of Secrets!

3rd place prize
The ownership of the House of Wonders located upon Baleford Bridge.
