Character: N/A
Which Event: A Cleansing ( https://chronicles-of-eternia.com/forum/...20004.html )
Responsiveness: Pretty great here, no complaints!
Balance: For an event pinged as a medium CoD (iirc?), I thought balance was fine! I had a jumpscare when I switched to my other client, popped back on my character, and got instant downed with a sand wave in the third round... that was just funny, though. Large crowds can be hard to balance around, otherwise- I thought it was good and tough for what the IC was.
Storytelling: I loved it! First, I want to say... WOW! The context of the narrations provided a lot details and really gave it an ominous ambiance. Reading them all was amusing. To my IC, it came off as a sort of 'doomsday' scenario, which was hilariously awesome to interact with.
A side note to the above for storytelling, and this is really just my own expression surrounding the sentiments of the event, itself -- The IC was an amazing conclusion to the former arcs that were once upon a time the Ten's Citadel - a once renown settlement to oppose the Fel and associations, taken down by said factions, destroyed, and the tainted lands cleansed. As a person that experienced a form from every arc, considering Hina was one of its founders/assisted in its growth heavily, to the Extinction events following her death, and this- I can positively say I'm just emotionally impacted, haha.
Fairness: I didn't expect to get anything, but I didn't mind what I got! I came here purely for the IC, which is what mattered more to me. Fairness in injury, though- absolutely fine. The DM was very attentive to everyone that fell and stayed to the table provided at the beginning of the event. A managed to roll really good rolls for the times I went down, at least.
Overall: Please run more events, this was very enjoyable.
