Aerilon Tsuchai- Teraphim Relict
#1

"The Teraphim have passed from this world to the next, yet our duties to the land remain. There must be someone to continue them- and I remain quite unconvinced there is anyone else fit to do so."

Quote:Of the enigmatic few Teraphim left wandering the world, there are scarcely any more stubbornly determined to stick around than Aerilon Tsuchai- Retired Mistseer of Myllenoris, Ex-Archdruid of the Essharian circle, survivor of the Pandemonium Chase, and general obnoxious presence within the Moxtli tribelands.

One of the more vocal (and most senior) voices in sending Myllenoris’ aid to the Gehennan tribes as they began to settle on the continent, he was quite content to consider his own presence a part of that deal. As the other Teraphim began their pilgrimage to the spirit world, he retired from his long-held positions to live amongst the fledgling tribal states, remaining silent why he chose to remain, only watching his kin as they journeyed beyond the veil.

Even then he never truly desired to settle with any one of the tribes themselves, flittering between them and the outside world endlessly. As a wandering relic of an ended age, he seems content to share his knowledge and connection to the spirits with those interested in complimenting their Shamanism with knowledge gleamed from decades of presiding over The Vale and the spirits beyond- if they can stand his condescension, that is.

Though his face seems to have barely aged a day since he first arrived in the tribelands, and even now his piercing gaze seems as though it could cut through steel, age continues to haunts him in the ways only a Teraphim can feel it- slowed movements, flitters of disassociation as his spirit is pulled elsewhere, called to the people who wait for his spirit's return, all reminders from a body that desires eternal rest.

Yet he’s continued wandering the forests as a living wraith, a haunted man weaving tracks of life in his wake, his eternal search for something marching ever onwards- even as he refuses to speak of what it is.
