Aoria DM <3 (filled)
#61
Key/Character: Ayuna Equisol
Which Event: Saving Private Gerald
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): 10/10. The narrations were done extremely quick for most dms, my rps however were not :<
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): 10/10. The battles were a great mix of serious and mildly absurd. My favorite part was when Lily White touhou hit me with her signature spellcard: Galaxy Nova.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): It was a generally light hearted event, but that made it all the better. Each obstacle and piece of the story fit perfectly with the general themes of it!
Fairness: 10/10. They were very fair, especially when we lost a player due to illness.
Overall:10/10
Any other comments:Lovely, cute little event.

Key/Character: Cerise Equisol
Which Event: Saving Private Gerald

Responsiveness: No complaints here, responses were quick and concise overall even when we were rolling terribly and making things more difficult.

Balance: Overall balance was fine, if you got too close and weren't smart about it you joined swiss cheese in being holey- but that's not a bad thing. The fights were fun.

Storytelling: You always go super hard on map choice and in using custom props and icons to help tell the story and it really adds a level of care and shows how much thought you put into it yourself, and anything involving Gerald is as important to Cerise as her own life so I thank you for telling the story you did.

Fairness: No complaints here! The rewards were worth the risks.

Overall: Thank you so much for doing this and all in all it was a good event. 10/10.

Character: Harolin Nyarabia
Event: The Serpentine Spire

Responsiveness: She typed very fast and didn't leave us waiting. It was us who dragged things out, inspired by the setting and dropping long RPs.

Balance: Great! Each boss fight was fair and had very telegraphed modes of attack. They were very punishing if you got hit, but you knew exactly what was happening and how to avoid it at any given moment. Felt like I was playing an actual boss fight in a normal video game... the puzzles were also practical, and skill/merit based. All in all, excellent!

Storytelling: Sadly the time we ran made some things need to be condensed. However, it was a really cool lore-respecting dive into the Yynglan-yi. Had many opportunities to flourish using my character's background and general traits.

Fairness: my reward was absolutely insane, and every other character got something very cool too! I think we just got lucky and succeeded a lot, there were definitely a lot of risks we could have taken that made things worse.

Overall: This DM is both reliable and passionate about their projects, you can count on them to deliver on anything they commit to!
