"May Truth Precede You."

Minuscule in its gathering, only those with a most attentive gaze unto growing trends might notice the slow seed of Kaminori. It first arrived on Esshar almost a year ago and is currently too pitiful to even be called a following.

Its introduction is all due to the work of the traveler Somni, from the Shenma Isles.

What is Kaminori? It is a philosophy, an ideal. A way to find oneself. Only by talking to the traveler can more be learned at this stage.

(Posts will be expanded in here with general knowledge as the following gains more notice!)

Kaminori.

  • The reflection of ones own actions and dreams through a variety of mental and magical techniques, to achieve self-actualization and to then extend your gift to those around you.
  • Those proficient in Kaminori know a variety of rituals and magics closely related to the human subconscious and dreams. There have been careful lines drawn so that the art is not mistaken for witchcraft- all Kaminori is consensual and its power is drawn not from the Dark Lord.
  • There is a crumb of faith in the origins of Kaminori, though it is by no means necessary to practice. It is from the teachings of the old Primordial Estus that it came to be, and from which its magics originated.
  • One of the earliest experiments involves a bowl of water and some strange dye. One reflects in the bowl originally and sees their current self- along with doubts, fears, confidence and such, distorting the image. Upon second reflection, they see their ideal self. Those who are experts in Kaminori are said to be able to perceive the transition and gain clarity on what they should do.
  • ... currently, Kaminori is being taught most directly by Somni in Alabastre, with claims that the teachings have substantial benefits to occultists wishing to stay in control of themselves. Not foolproof and highly dependent on the willpower of the learner, of course.
  • There are also whispers of a prophecy related to Kaminori, though its contents remain elusive.
