With the failed uprising, Revan and the Loyal Fireblooded that followed him would begin their long march through the Greatwood to the kingdom of Myllenoris. There they would share how the attempts at revolt were thwarted by the demons who policed Theria's streets. Seeking asylum, as well as offering their forces to aid in the battle against demons, High Lord Alexios would kindly accepted us. Hearing the announcement from the faux head of the, the faithful were quick to respond.
Opening with a scroll from Qyzycryt, son of Garljing:
Quote:"Demons are closely tied to Witch-kind, who are created by the Dark Lord of Helheim... a Lord who would seek to slay Ryujin... No one who aids Witches can be considered a true follower of your faith. Demons are of a similar way to be treated, in my own eyes, closely tied to those same Witches.. They must be purged, like a forestfire cleansing the dead growth so the forest may prosper; Ryujin need not fear the Dark Lord, just as I needed not fear that Dragonslayer... That does not mean those who honor either of us, should not destroy them regardless; Ryujin need not fear the Dark Lord, just as I needed not fear that Dragonslayer... That does not mean those who honor either of us, should not destroy them regardless; So tell me, those who would follow the path of the Fireblooded, of Garljing, of Ryujin... my father, my grandfather. Should you fight against the beings who would see both of their flames extinguished were they to ever have the chance...?"
Anguisa, the ambitious follower that found the Grandson to Ryujin would be the first to say:
Quote:"This is NOT abour honor. It is nothing more than the holy duty of anyone that follows the teachings of Ryujinite faith and holds the slightest of his flame in their heart. To side with the enemies of the Spirit Lord is worse than lacking honor, it's worse than just heresy. Most of the Task family dragged the Dragon's city to a wrong path because of their personal opinions and affiliations, to the point of commiting not just one but two serious sins, the first one was of being an ally to the followers of the Dark Lord, the second one was the alliance with those who murdered one of the Ancient Dragons, a child of Garljing. This isn't just a political conflict. This is a Holy Crusade. Against all of those that defy or distort the Fireblooded faith like that old man did."
The Exiled Dragonlord, Barrachan, would make his decree:
Quote:"Gehenna once faced the demonic threat against their lands, and many heroes among even the depraved arose to strike them down. Just as their heroes faced tribulations and the Twelve Labors, this is but a test from Ryujin. Dragons claim to reside within Theria. The fire shall reign from the sky to undo this travesty. You shield one who has taken from me directly. I am coming for you all, and I will cover Esshar in your ashes."
Athanoti, a recent convert turned devout would offer:
Quote:"Who would've thought people would be so blatant about an ideal they had wanted to do in the near future? Expel the demons. How much of a task is that? Instated in the many people of Theria that were planning on doing it. None of them came to assist. It's pathetic.
I had my greatest times in Theria, I'm not even jokin'. It was fun there. I would have kept on fighting for Theria, even if I became as old as fuckin' Dun. To who I fight for, I stay loyal 'till they ain't think I'm loyal or 'till I die. It's what I've sworn to do for many years.
Fighting on every side, in every war in the last twenty wars taught me that. I never learned to keep a permanent home 'cuz I always changed allegiance so god damn much. But, maybe shit could change for once. Who knows.
But, for me. Now I must stand for the enemy to fight the true enemy, the demon-kind. This is a holy war, not a little petty war. We will not stop 'till we take Taria back for the people who know their shit."
The light of my life, Lilith, would make a fiery declaration:
Quote:"The demons have long overstayed their welcome in our Realm. They walk around as if they own the place, as if they have a right to this place we call home...
Yet they forget where they come from, where their roots lie. It was through us that the demons were first brought to Esshae, through witches who made pacts with the Lord of Hel... And it will be us that will push them back to where they belong, to rid the land from their filth.
You Demons have long overstayed your welcome in our lands. Now, it's time for you to go home...
Back to Hel
And finally, the head of it all, Revan orn Apotychia, to give his thoughts:
Quote:"You've worn plenty of hats in your time Clown Prince, and played many roles quite well- though now I suppose you wear the the halo of sainthood. If only it meant much coming from an opportunistic charlatan. Pachua can claim whatever titles he likes, and pout of things he has no power of. While I have brought some dishonor to my name using a poison my father was never afraid to have employed on others, it does not undermine that you are in the wrong siding with those that consort with The Dark Lord.
I have made my mistakes, not just as a Task, but as a man. Yet still I find kindling to push this crusade, and through the fires of this Holy War, I will find my own blessing of the Dragons, and you will see the error of your ways, hopefully before the demons make you see it themselves.
To the remaining Fireblooded in Theria, I implore you not to remain in the "Free" state and try to fight on your own terms. My father and Pachua would likely have you believe the dragons are slumbering, yet I assure you Garljing waits to set the mountain ablaze once again. Fireblooded faithful, join the Order of Kindling, and together we can reclaim our home.
Until then, I will happily re-challenge Pachua for The Helm of The First Flame Back, and the "Dragon Saint of Wisdom" while he still lives and breathes- poison excluded, of course."
