Will the price be life-threatening, will it bear fruit? Draw upon it have it told and made true. The past, the present, the future. Reveal all and take a risk... There is no such need to fisk.
 
Esshar's first customer drew upon misfortune: JUSTICE in REVERSE.

Drawing bad is like a plague that lingers from cards of foul origin. The first received their fortune in his chest, where it would blossom and come to fruition from their very heart! Spoken in words that flow, much like a river. oh.. how it made them all shiver. A crimson haired youth with a fire in his heart. Struck at his core.
 
The Future tells of lies and and lack of accountability.
Further misfortune with material loss.
 
The fortune teller wanders Esshar with hair like that of snow and eyes sharper than ice. Adorned in dark robes with light colored flowers patterned along the fabric, upon them with a vile aura and sparks around their person. Sometimes with companions, sometimes alone.

Another fortune told, another fate read. In the south did those maddening flames reveal to another their future. Told with another flow of rhymes, like a spell of some sorts. The winged man tested his luck, the Gods were not watching, Ryujin did not smile upon his children nor their future Though, when it came to payment for this service, a reading done generously, a proposal that could not be refused, there was no resistance. 

 

No blood paid.

No flesh exchange.

No materials taken.

Not this time.

 

One of Esshar's winged tested his future, a gleam into what is to be drew misfortune: THE HIGH PRIESTESS in REVERSE

 

The Future looks bleak the voice within him goes silence, likely with suppressed violence. 

The center shifts, does he feel like himself? Or is he a Dragon or an elf?

This misfortune came in one personal, a payment though not as hefty as the first.

A loss for the unfortunate, and a gain for those not.

Be wary Esshar. The demon ridden Dreadwoods was the first of many to ring with something worthwhile. Wandering fortunes led to the darkened forest. A tyrant had his fate read. No refusal of pay, nothing lost but much gained.

 

The second of Esshar's most perfect drew fortune: THE FOOL as UPRIGHT  

 

The future is one that may draw upon fortune, it is no means of distortion. 

His soul is one of spirit free, it may beckon all of Esshar to take a knee. 

Bound for new beginnings, should this be history? 

I dare say it's shrouded in mystery. But, it is bright.

Seemingly naught spoke to me of plight.

 

Fear should be felt, weariness for the future for all who reside outside of the Dreadwoods. Fortune befalls what all wish to strike. A Fool in every sense good. A Fool that may change the world for better or worse. Regardless, this was the first of fortune within a sea of predicted downfall, challenge, and struggle.

In the deserts, the southernmost reaches of Esshar where the heat ripples the air, yet another tried their fate. Readings extended all over Esshar but, the ivory haired teller lingered mainly in the north and darkest reaches of the country. Luck ran out, running dry for a moment for a certain...
 
Perfect individual, the third one to emerge, drew misfortune: THE EMPRESS in REVERSE
 
The future is one of dependency, for another, for power something beyond himself.
It's as though he's empty and lacking and that missing piece needs finding.
He'll allow himself to be smothered-
No, he wishes for it. How it will smother him?
I'm not sure.
 
Accepted fate, challenges, paid with chocolate pudding.
The fortune teller forms an addiction to the sweet treat and such will be an accepted form of payment.
Should it be of quality.
 
And even prior to that...
 
In the mountains where the winds bring chill did a cat find himself to be quite curious of the future. Though, while an extent of himself, it's the future of passionate, burning fires within that wish to be told. 
 
A burning cat's flames drew misfortune: THE HIEROPHANT in REVERSE
 
The future expresses rebellious fires.
An approach  taken of its own with little disregard of what you will.
Subversive and a little reckless.
Oh how it will leave him...
Helpless.

Though without it, his flames cannot rule the world.

To Snake Eye's Fortunes.

They have not retired, they have not stopped, word of such tales just circle less and less. Smaller, more intimate tales have been read but of note rang with the coming of the Barsburg Empire to Osrona. It occurred miles away from their gates, a reading with ears and eyes but word circled more this time around. A certain Sergeant did not have a choice in knowing her fate. 
 
Esshar's second Barsburg visitor drew upon misfortune: THE CHARIOT in REVERSE
 
The future rings like that of many Barsburg soldiers, a life of servitude and slavery to the machine.
However, hers is one of lack of control and direction, personally.
While the Empire has her like a dog on a leash,
she neglects all things personal about herself.
It will lead to aggression and a sense of loss without the mechanical twist and turn of the Empire's cog-works
She is, at her very core, a boring individual with no sense of self or person.
It's better that she dies. She was not alive in the first place.
 
Few witnessed the fall of the Sergeant, while she is alive and well, a demand was made to all present. Perhaps it rings in the walls of Osrona since a Lieutenant bore witness to such.
 
'If you want Sergeant Cecilia Pitri back, release all prisoners. All of them. In the coming weeks, she'll die if that demand is not met.'
  
The price for the fortune paid in blood, the price for her release is the release of all prisoners, from human to demon.

Or ten-thousand coin, or several pieces of Arcanium.
