Esshar suffers from shortage of fertile land, due to neverending wars. It's not easy to find a decent field under the clear sky. Jack once had one, but then he was forced to leave his farm, and it was demolished. His goal was to bring unique seeds to Esshar, and make it possible to grow rare plants on field.
Fate was nice to him - a druid in bright clothes gave him some seeds of Sinka and Soothing reed.
Finally Jack managed to find tiny plot of fertile land in a barn.
He brought the sacred seeds and planted them there - two seeds of Sinka and one seed of Soothing Reed. Jack watered the plot, but he had a feel that such environment is not suitable for these plants. He did not want them to perish, but his knowledge of Nature came in handy.
Nature magic helped plants to grow and first saplings appeared. They were feeble and thin, but clearly they were alive. Soothing reed was planted in centre, and Sinka plants were planted to left and right of it. It's clearly seen that Sinka has red leaves, and Soothing reed looks blueish.

Plants struggled really hard, they clearly should not be planted inside, so Nature magic was used to help them survive. Finally they grew larger. Druid must have given a different sort of Sinka, because wild Sinka is a flower which grows close to ground, it is hard to notice it in forest. These plants were growing tall. Soothing reed was growing blue as well. That's strange.

Meanwhile plants came to their final stage of growth. Yes, they look really weird. Because Jack is colorblind, he had to consult with mandrakes, and they confirmed that plants to left and to right looked like a red-colored bushes with greenish small fruit. Were they really greenish? At least, large red flower was blooming on top. And Soothing Reed looked like a bush with blueish leaves. What were those seeds that druid gave him? The plants look truly bizarre.

Jack carefully picked the largest flower and harvested Soothing reed with a pocket knife. After examination, he found that they yielded completely normal Sinka and Soothing Reed. Druid gave him great and useful seeds. Jack appreciated him and his generosity. Unfortunately he was not able to recover seeds.
