A book in the Taiyang's possession appeared to have notes of the past Illuminated that shared their knowledge on Jiuweihu. With each page, the tenets were explained. And with each page, Yoshiko followed.

The Pillars: ‘Kindness is given to all those at first glance. Let it be a peon who knows nothing or a drunk that doesn’t know their way. Give them a place to rest for the night, let them speak of their life and how it leads up to this point. Do not allow them to take advantage of the your kindness, however.’

‘Respect is earned, either through their actions or by their words. Their titles and ideals mean nothing if their actions say little about their true character. In that turn of phrase, when they give you respect, return it in kind, but never forget that they can lose it as well.’

‘Understand where a man comes from for all can be saved. Even killers, rapist, monsters in the shape of human skin. Ask yourself how they got here, but when you show them the light and they claim to be saved, remember to hold your knife in case they show deceit.’

‘Family’: ‘There is no life without the help of a man and a woman. There is no offspring to start the cycle of life without both of them being present. Though, when you create this family, remember that they too must follow the path and complete the three rituals to show dedication to both you and Jiuweihu.’

Yoshiko hasn't decided if she wants to continue writing in this notebook. However, the chances of her doing so are fairly high. The days will continue to shine no matter how long she waits...

Entry one:

Every since I got Grandfather's notebook turned into a tome, I've felt more inspired to use it to cleanse this world of the evils that is shelters. The core of it is connected to the sun.. So, everywhere I go no matter where, I can still be close to Jiuweihu. Even without it, I still have her blessing within my sheds light upon this plain. No touch of darkness can shroud my luminosity.

That was proven when Izurza tried to devour Amalia and I. Maybe they'd think twice before attempt to feed on a follower of Jiuweihu. But I think I've come very far in my life... My habits that I use to have as a child have almost diminished entirely.

No more crying....

No more hiding....

No more fear...

I'm now motivated to protect what needs to be protected. Jiuweihu's light has given me that path of wisdom. And with that wisdom, I can aim further towards a better goal. Letting my flames bind with her light as a whole and protect me further. While also allowing me to use such an ability to help others who have chosen the wrong path to choose the right one. Everyone can be understood and can have a chance to change. It just takes dedication to do so.. I plan to give them all the dedication they need to change. If they allow me...
