Change effect of Soothing Reed bowl, so it works like Lax Essence, but with permanent wounds. This means a permanent wound for 24 hours is 50% less painful. But only after the injury has occurred. (EX: A -10 perm nerf becomes a -5 Permanent Nerf for 1 day)

No need to put a disclaimer. In the end the idea was yours. I was just explaining the current effects of Soothe Reed (To my knowledge) and how it works ingame. To sweep up any confusion between the differences of it, and Lax Essence.

Because I remember a long time ago, that it confused me too and I wondered why there were two potions that did the same thing. But they do different things.

I like the idea, though. An alternative to trauma kits, or one that can be used to stack on top of trauma kits. It'd be an interesting dynamic. If people roleplayed utilizing drugs instead of just popping a potion and acting like they aren't on it half the time.

I like most of these suggestions, and not just because some of them are almost exactly what I suggested in my own Alchemy suggestions thread earlier, here.

Reed bowl reducing perms would be cool, but potentially be too vital to -not- have as a combatant. Sleeping Potion shouldn't have a soothing reed req, given how little it's used.

I like the Frog's leg idea though, although I don't know what we'd use as ingredients. I'd rather use rabbit's feet for 'hopping' to give it another use, instead of adding yet another new ingredient for a one-off potion.

how about you dont talk shit about adding aesthetic frogs hopping about the world like fireflies and i wont come to your house w/ a bat

better yet, we actually have some other aesthetic thing added to the map, because we all know 'Aesthetic Frogs' would just end up being more immobile npc spawns that sit there and attack you when you get close

or worse, they'll be immobile fireflies that sit there lifelessly as reagents.

just use rabbit's feet for hop potion, less fluff more substance

T1 or T2 public potion which turns you to drakanite for a limited time: gives you drakanite aura for a limited time (24 hours)

hello!

i've come back to bump this because i have had the humming realization that there is like, maybe one potion in t1 that you can actually Make without the use of an event

i think this kind of sucks! while i understand the intent that a Master Top-Class Alchemist is something that should be able to make potions that are of a hugely high caliber, almost all of them (with the exception of alchemy eyes and fizzy pop (and also elixir of healing which was moved from t2 to t1)) require a chiron (or chiron-like object in the form of the lotus flower which no one has gotten yet), which currently isn't ... something that we exactly have a surplus of. these are all carryovers from spires when spire shards were much more bountiful and it was fine, actually, to use one on a white oil or whatever. as of now, there have been two chirons that have been used on white oils and people are mad about it because they were used in such an anti-climactic way that egging them was probably more preferable.

like, i get it that 'absolute obedience', 'perm healing' and 'you cant roll a 1' are all obscene enough to need a chiron, but there's almost no point in spending the rpp to be tier 1 unless you want the clout of it or think that you will come across a chiron and also the reason to make one of these potions.
