The Slummies, a group of teens that have run away from home for one reason or another, though mostly avoiding abuse at the hands of adults who would do anything to survive.  They have lived in a single alley way in sudsbury for quite some time, but with the new stores opening in the slum-town, a gang of older ruffians think they can easily push the kids out of their alley. Even if one of the kids happens to be a magi.
