They come without warning. 
Inferno blazes beneath the din of twilight, illuminating the western edge of a once shimmering capital. Those that seek solace within bloodied, desolated walls are alerted,
but by then it is too late -
Baleford Bridge quakes, a series of calculated explosions ringing across its foundations. Riders gallop forth, cloaked in fabric as black as night with grand ornate masks, veiled beneath a blanket of smog and gloom.
There is no time to beckon Coalition aid. The Magi of New Osrona must act independently.

"Cower within your walls," bellows a figure in black, commanding tones inspiring the modest strike force. A kaleidoscope of colours illuminate the forestry as arcane of varying origin rains down upon the Western Bridge.
Their intention is clear - the utter obliteration of the Western crossing.
"Lay waste to their bridge! Leave them trapped and writhing beneath their faux leaders. Your Teraphim slavemasters will not help you tonight. Rise and fight! The Stars bare witness."

Dispatch the meagre forces they have with immediacy or concede their bridge.

If New Osrona fails to ward off the rebellion fighters, Baleford Bridge shall fall, cutting off Osrona's access to the West, to Therian aid and to the remnants of the fallen city, hidden away in Nysea.

(OOC: This raid marks the start of many smaller scale conflicts as the rebellion seeks to suffocate Osrona and take back the Shimmering City through a series of goal-orientated events. Utilizing guerilla tactics and stealth attacks, New Osrona are only able to field Magi actively participating in the city to repel this assault. A limited number of combatants shall be fielded on both sides.

The battle for the Baleford bridge, Nysea vs Osrona, ends in defeat for Nysea. The black hooded riders are forced to pull back and given no quarter by the Coalition and it’s army stationed within the recently rebuilt walls. Through explosion and magic wracks against the wood, it stands, remaining tall as the victorious voices of Osronans spill out for all to hear.

The Lightbringer of the First Light, Lloyd Durages, is defeated, slain. His final words also ring out for all to hear before the gun's attack penetrated both his heart and his brain.
