Ways To Make Money That Aren't Have Money
#1
The land owning/farm/shop system is ... unideal, so to speak, due to the fact that you need to first be able to buy the one open slot every two weeks (because plots dont relinquish on death so much of them are abandoned and owned by ghosts), but to do that, you need money, and for money, you need to sell items, and to sell items, you need a shop/plot, but to have a shop/plot, you need m,oney, ,, ,

I think it would be cool? Fun? To have global events like e1 back on a much lesser scale, that were brief ic reprieves of like "there are 30-60 wild hogs a farmer has hired you to kill" and you get like 3k out of it or something.

Mine cheap ores. Copper is worth 7 Coins to the basic merchant. Most mines have fucktons of it, so you gather up 100 units of copper, that noone cares about, sell it and you get 700 coins. Even better with iron, but people actually want iron sometimes.

the second mythril node is behind the Fire God.

there's also a single nyeshk and single tyrium node out in the open, in the crater, and plenty of iron, copper, and adamantite strewn around. (there's like, three adamantite nodes in the Grub Cave)

y'don't have to go straight for the big dick mythril. i think half of my fortune comes from adamantite

(also firegod has a blue mercury node)
i miss mouse so much

Did you check the eastern cave? Also yeah. Osrona is pretty dead economically. Aside from having the best farmland in the game. But that's not exactly of help to people who can't afford to purchase said farmland.

Though I always figured that was the point. Either you're a noble and thus have buckets of money, or you have literally nothing.

if you have gone mining in the first place you have lost in the long term

i have never been a fan of the gathering system, it's essentially a fun vacuum. sure you'll make bank, but was it really worth it? was it???

This is true, but the only way I could think of to replace it would be some kind of infrastructure system wherein owning a mine just generates X amount of ores over time. Which would run into the same issue farming has, where you have to be rich to get rich.

Also most gathering isn't that bad if you bring people along and have fun with it.
